Area Template

An Area template in the GroBase app allows you to define the physical space or growing area that will be utilized in a grow cycle. Whether you’re using a grow tent, a dedicated room, or dividing a larger space into separate quadrants, the Area template provides flexibility to tailor your cultivation environment to your specific needs.

By creating Area templates, you can effectively manage and organize your growing spaces, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and maximizing productivity across your grow cycles.

Area Fields

Field	Required	Description
Area Name	Yes	The name of the area
Description	No	A brief description of the area
Type	Yes	The type of area (tent, room, greenhouse, outdoor, custom, other)
Unit	Yes	The unit of measurement for the area dimensions (cm, m, in, ft, other)
Length	Yes	The length of the area
Width	Yes	The width of the area

How to Add an Area Template

1. In the navigation menu, select Templates

2. Click the Add Area button under the Areas section

3. Populate the Area Fields

4. Click the Save button to add the Area Template

5. To immediately add another, click Save and Add Another

How to Edit/Delete an Area Template

1. In the navigation menu, select Templates

2. Find and select the Template in the Areas section

3. Click the Edit button at the top of the page

4. Edit the fields accordingly and click the Update button to save the changes

5. To Delete, simply click on the trash icon and confirm the deletion

This section displays general information about the Area Template.

Associated Cycles Table

This table displays the entries of each Cycle that the Area Template is associated with. Each entry will also display what Stage that Area is associated with in that particular Cycle.

How to set an Area in a Cycle

1. Navigate to your Cycle

2. Under the corresponding Stage Day section, find and select the Area

3. Click the Set button to set the Area
