Container Template#
Container templates in the GroBase app facilitate the tracking of containers utilized by plants within grow cycles. These templates enable you to monitor container types, sizes, and associated grow medium mixes, providing valuable insights into plant cultivation and transplanting activities.
By leveraging Container templates, you can effectively manage your container inventory, track plant transplantation activities, and optimize grow medium mixtures for optimal plant health and growth.

How to Add a Container Template#
In the navigation menu, select Templates
Click the Add Container button under the Containers section
Populate the Container Fields
Click the “Save” button to add the Container Template
To immediately add another, click Save and Add Another
How to Edit/Delete a Container Template#
In the navigation menu, select Templates
Find and select the Template in the Containers section
Click the Edit button at the top of the page
Edit the fields accordingly and click the Update button to save the changes
To Delete, simply click on the trash icon and confirm the deletion

This section displays general information about the Container Template.
Amendment Log#
Keep track of resources added to a Grow Medium Mix assigned to a specific Container. Amendment Logs provide an organized way to document the amendments used when preparing your medium, ensuring accurate records for new cycles and improved grow management.
Note
You must first have a Grow Medium Mix associated to the Container
How to add an Amendment Log#
In the navigation menu, select Templates
Find and select the Template in the Containers section
Under the Amendment Log section, click the Add button
Give the log a Log Name and Date
Select a Resource from the dropdown
Enter the Amount
Optionally, click the Add Row button to add an additional Resource
Click the Add button to save the log
Associated Cycle Plants Table#
This table displays the entries of each Cycle Plant that the Container Template is associated with. Each entry will also display what Stage that Container is associated with for that particular Cycle Plant.
Grow Medium Mix#
A Grow Medium Mix lets you document and customize the substrate blend for your containers, ensuring it meets the specific needs of your plants.
Attention
At least 1 Resource must be created before adding a Grow Medium Mix!
How to Add a Grow Medium Mix#
In the navigation menu, select Templates
Under the Containers section, click the Add Grow Medium Mix button
Give the mix a Name and select a Resource from the dropdown
Enter the Amount
Optionally, click the Add Row button to add an additional Resource
Click the Save button to save the mix
