Cycles#
A Cycle is one grow from start to finish. It keeps the Plants and Lights in that grow alongside its activity, measurements, photos, and reminders. Create a new Cycle when you want a separate history for a new grow.
Create a Cycle#
Open Cycles and select New Cycle.
Enter a name and any known growing details or start date.
Select Create Cycle, then open it from the Cycles list.
The Overview shows the Cycle’s growing context. Its Plants and Lights links take you to the items in this grow. You can add them later; the Cycle does not need to be fully planned before you start.
Set or change the stage#
Open the Cycle’s Stages tab.
Select Start First Stage or Start Next Stage.
Choose the stage and the date it began, then save.
Starting the next stage ends the previous current stage. Stage context helps place later activity and measurements in the right part of your grow. A Plant can follow the Cycle’s dates or have its own stage history. If earlier stage dates are incomplete, GroBase may first ask you to supply a known end date; it will not guess one for you.
Log and review the grow#
Use Log Activity when something happened, such as watering or training. Use Record Measurement when you measured a value, such as temperature or humidity. Use Add Photo for a Cycle photo. The Timeline brings this history together, newest first. Search or filter it to find an entry; the Stages tab shows the stage dates separately.
