Seed Vault#
Use Seed Vault to keep your seed inventory, breeder details, photos, and Collections together. A Collection is simply a group of Seeds you want to find or share together.
Add or import Seeds#
Open Seed Vault and stay on Inventory.
Select Add Seed, enter the details and count you know, then save.
For several entries, use Bulk add. For a prepared file, select Import CSV and review the import preview before completing it.
Search and filters on Inventory help you find an entry by name, breeder, flowering type, or visibility. Open a Seed to see its details, photos, count history, and Collections. Use Edit Seed to change its details.
Link a Genetic to a Seed#
A Genetic is a reusable cultivar identity. A Seed Vault entry is the seed inventory you own. Open a Seed and select Create Genetic to make and link a new Genetic, or Link Existing Genetic to use one you already have. You can unlink them later without deleting either one. Linking or creating a Genetic does not change your seed count; manage inventory from Seed Vault.
When adding a Plant, you can select its Seed Vault Source as well as its Genetic. The source records which Seed entry the Plant came from. If that Seed has a linked Genetic and the Plant’s Genetic is blank, GroBase suggests it for you. You can choose a different Genetic or leave the source blank. Selecting a source does not use seeds or change the inventory count.
Organize with Collections#
Open the Collections section and select Add Collection.
Give the Collection a name and save it.
Open a Seed. In its Collections section, select Add to Collection and choose where it belongs.
You can mark a Seed or Collection public or private. A public Collection shows only Seeds that are also public. Before sharing a Collection, review the visibility of its Seeds and photos. This is separate from sharing a Cycle on GroHub.
