Seed Vault

The Seed Vault feature serves as a repository for storing and managing your collection of seeds. You can record essential details about each seed, such as breeder information, flowering type, genetic type, seed count, and description. Additionally, you can upload and view photos of your seeds to enhance your cataloging experience.

Seed Fields

Field	Required	Description
Seed Name	Yes	The name of the seed
Description	No	A brief description of the seed
Breeder	Yes	A reference to the Breeder
Custom Breeder	No	A reference to the Custom Breeder
Flowering Type	Yes	The flowering type of the strain (photoperiod, autoflower)
Genetic Type	Yes	The genetic type of the strain (regular, feminized)
Seed Count	Yes	The number of seeds

Share Seed Vault

GroBase allows you to make your Seed Vault publicly viewable, making it easy to share your collection with others. When enabled, a public URL is activated, which can be shared with anyone.

1. In the navigation menu, select Seed Vault

2. Locate and toggle Share Vault to enable sharing

3. Click the link icon to copy the url and share your Seed Vault with others

Attention

You have the ability to toggle sharing for individual seeds for more granular control of what seeds you want publicly visible. Simply go to the Seed page, and click the Public toggle!

How to Add a Seed to the Seed Vault

1. In the navigation menu, select Seed Vault

2. Click the Add Seed button

3. Populate the Seed Fields

4. Click the Save button to add the seed

5. To immediately add another, click Save and Add Another

How to Edit/Delete a Seed from the Seed Vault

1. In the navigation menu, select Seed Vault

2. Find and select the Seed

3. Click the Edit button at the top of the page

4. Edit the fields accordingly and click the Update button to save the changes

5. To Delete, simply click on the trash icon and confirm the deletion

Bulk Add Seeds

The Bulk Add Seeds feature in GroBase allows you to quickly and efficiently add multiple seeds to the Seed Vault. This feature is particularly useful for growers who need to import large quantities of seed information.

The Bulk Seed Actions provides a simple way to manage and upload multiple seed entries at once. Below are the actions available:

Bulk Seed Actions

Action	Description
Add Row	Adds a new empty row to the table for additional seed entries
Remove Row	Removes the selected row from the table
Clear Table	Clears all data from the table, allowing you to start over
Download CSV	Downloads the current table data in CSV format, which can be used for backup or editing in external tools
Import CSV	Allows you to upload a CSV file containing seed data. The table will be populated automatically based on the CSV content
Submit	Submits the seed entries for creation in the system

You have 2 entry options:

• Manual Table Entry

• Import CSV File

Important

Once your data is added, the system will validate each entry to ensure all required fields are filled and the information is accurate. Invalid entries will be highlighted red, and you’ll need to correct them before proceeding.

Manual Table Entry

1. In the navigation menu, select Seed Vault

2. Under the Bulk Add Seeds section, click Add Row

3. Populate the Seed Fields

4. Click the Submit button to add the seed entries

Import CSV File

1. In the navigation menu, select Seed Vault

2. Under the Bulk Add Seeds section, click Download CSV

3. Populate the Seed Fields in the CSV file

4. Click the Import CSV button and the table should populate with your data

5. Click the Submit button to add the seed entries
