Seed Vault#
The Seed Vault helps you organize and manage your seed inventory.
Each Seed entry can store information such as its name, breeder, flowering type, genetic type, quantity, description, visibility, photos, and collection assignments.
The Seed Vault page provides an overview of your inventory and includes tools for searching, filtering, updating visibility, deleting multiple entries, organizing Vault Collections, and adding Seeds in bulk.
Seed Vault Summary#
The summary cards display:
Seed Entries — The number of individual Seed entries in the Seed Vault.
Total Seeds — The combined Seed Count from all entries.
Public Entries — The number of Seed entries currently marked as public.
Collections — The number of Vault Collections you have created.
Quick Actions#
The Quick Actions section provides shortcuts for managing the Seed Vault.
Available actions include:
Seed — Add an individual Seed entry.
Collections — Open the Vault Collections section.
Bulk Add — Open the Bulk Add Seeds section.
Seed Inventory#
The Seed Inventory table displays the Seeds stored in your Seed Vault.
Each row may display:
Visibility status
Seed name
Seed Count
Description
Breeder
Select a Seed name to open its individual Seed page.
The visibility icon indicates whether an entry is public or private:
An eye indicates a public Seed.
A lock indicates a private Seed.
How to Search and Filter the Seed Vault#
Use the search field to find Seeds using information displayed in the inventory.
You can also filter the inventory by:
Flowering Type
Genetic Type
The Flowering Type filter includes:
Photoperiod
Autoflower
The Genetic Type filter includes:
Regular
Feminized
Clear a filter by selecting its All option.
How to Update the Visibility of All Seeds#
Open the navigation menu and select Seed Vault.
Find the Seed Inventory section.
Select Visibility.
Select one of the following:
Make All Public
Make All Private
Making all Seeds public allows every entry to appear in your public Seed Vault when public sharing is enabled.
Making all Seeds private prevents the entries from appearing publicly.
How to Delete Multiple Seeds#
Open the navigation menu and select Seed Vault.
Find the Seed Inventory section.
Select the checkbox beside each Seed you want to delete.
Select Delete Selected.
Confirm the deletion.
Warning
Deleting selected Seeds cannot be undone.
Bulk Add Seeds#
Bulk Add Seeds allows you to create multiple Seed entries at the same time.
You can enter the information directly into the table or import it from a CSV file.

Validates the table and creates the Seed entries. |
Important
GroBase validates the table before creating the Seeds.
Invalid cells are highlighted and must be corrected before the entries can be submitted.
How to Manually Bulk Add Seeds#
Open the navigation menu and select Seed Vault.
Select Bulk Add under Quick Actions.
Select Add Row.
Complete the applicable Bulk Seed Fields.
Select Add Row again for each additional Seed.
Select Add Seeds.
How to Bulk Add Seeds Using a CSV File#
Open the navigation menu and select Seed Vault.
Select Bulk Add under Quick Actions.
Select Download CSV to download a file with the expected columns.
Open the CSV file and complete the Bulk Seed Fields.
Save the CSV file.
Return to the Bulk Add Seeds section.
Select Import CSV and choose the completed file.
Review the imported information and correct any highlighted cells.
Select Add Seeds.
Individual Seeds#
Each Seed entry has its own page for managing its details, photos, visibility, Seed Count, and collection assignments.
Vault Collections#
Vault Collections allow you to group related Seed entries together.
The Vault Collections section displays each Collection’s:
Name
Cover photo
Public or private status
Public link action when available
Select a Collection to open its individual Vault Collection page.
