Genetic templates within the GroBase app serve as a pivotal tool for you to monitor and document plants cultivated within grow cycles based on specific genetic strains. These templates offer a systematic approach to recording essential metrics such as harvest weight, flowering characteristics, and genetic attributes, enabling you to gain valuable insights into plant performance and optimize cultivation strategies.

By leveraging Genetic templates, you can effectively monitor plant characteristics, analyze genetic traits, and make informed decisions to optimize cultivation practices, ultimately maximizing yield and quality.

How to Add a Genetic Template#

  1. In the navigation menu, select Templates

  2. Click the Add Genetic button under the Genetics section

  3. Populate the Genetic Fields

  4. Click the Save button to add the Genetic Template

  5. To immediately add another, click Save and Add Another

How to Edit/Delete a Genetic Template#

  1. In the navigation menu, select Templates

  2. Find and select the Template in the Genetics section

  3. Click the Edit button at the top of the page

  4. Edit the fields accordingly and click the Update button to save the changes

  5. To Delete, simply click on the trash icon and confirm the deletion

Details#

This section displays general information about the Genetic Template.

Attributes#

This section displays Attribute information for the Genetic based on all the Cycle Plants that are associated to it. You can view all plants that are associated to a specific attribute for quick access to the plant.

  • Effects Profile

  • Medicinal benefits

Overall Harvest Stats#

This section displays the Min, Max, Avg and Total Harvest Weight for the Genetic. This information is gathered based on all Cycle Plants linked to this Genetic throughout your entire account.

Note

If a Cycle Plant has a Plant Count of 10 and you entered in a Harvest Weight of 40oz, this will be broken down in the calculation and will divide the 40oz by 10 plants and will be counted as 1 plant with a Harvest Weight of 4oz each.

Associated Cycle Plants Table#

This table displays the entries of each Cycle Plant that is associated to this Genetic Template.

How to Favorite a Genetic#

You also have the ability to Favorite a Genetic and have it displayed on your Dashboard.

  1. In the navigation menu, select Templates

  2. Find and select the Genetic under the Genetics section

  3. Click the Favorite button
