Public Cycle#
A Public Cycle displays grow information that a GroBase user has chosen to share through GroHub.
Visitors can review the Cycle’s plants, lights, Stage Days, environmental averages, notes, and photos. They can also share the Cycle, open its Forum Topic when available, and join the discussion through comments.
When the owner uses an anonymous Public Profile, the Cycle is displayed as being shared by an anonymous user and does not link to their profile.
Public Cycle Header#
The page header may display:
Cycle cover photo
Cycle name
User who shared the Cycle
Cycle status
Grow Medium
Watering Method
Forum Topic link
When the user is not anonymous, select their name to open their Public Profile.
If the Cycle has an associated Forum Topic, select View Forum Topic to open the discussion.
Public Cycle Views#
Use the buttons near the top of the page to switch between:
Plants
Lights
Seedling Days
Veg Days
Flower Days
Autoflower Days
Only information available for the selected Cycle is displayed.
Plants#
The Plants view displays the total number of physical plants represented in the Cycle.
Each Plant card may display:
Plant name
Genetic
Plant Count
Plant Sex
Current status
Select a Plant card to open its public Plant page.
Lights#
The Lights view displays the Cycle Lights associated with the public Cycle.
Each Light card may display:
Cycle Light name
Maximum wattage
Light Count
Brand
Select a Light card to open its public Light page.
Stage Days#
The Seedling, Vegetative, Flowering, and Autoflower views display the public Days recorded for each growth stage.
Each stage may display:
Stage start date
Latest recorded Day
Assigned Area
Average daytime temperature
Average daytime humidity
Average daytime VPD
Average nighttime temperature
Average nighttime humidity
Average nighttime VPD
Days grouped by week
Select a week link to jump to that week’s records.
Each Day card may display:
Day number
Date
Watering indicator
Daytime environmental readings
Nighttime environmental readings
Day note
Photo preview
Select a Day card to open its public Day page.
When photos are available, select the photo preview or View All to open the photo viewer.
How to Manage Cycle Visibility#
Note
You must be logged in to manage your Cycles.
Open GroHub.
Find the Manage Cycles section.
Find the Cycle you want to manage.
Open the Cycle’s three-dot menu.
Enable the Public switch to share the Cycle.
The Cycle will appear on GroHub and receive its own Public Cycle page.
To stop sharing the Cycle, disable the Public switch.
Comments#
The Comments section allows GroBase users to discuss the Public Cycle.
Each comment may display:
Profile photo
Display name
Comment
Date and time posted
Anonymous profiles are displayed as Anonymous User.
Select a visible user’s name or profile photo to open their Public Profile.
How to Leave a Comment#
Note
You must be logged in to leave a comment.
Open the Public Cycle.
Find the Comments section.
Enter your comment under Leave a Comment.
Select Post Comment.
How to Delete Your Comment#
Open the Public Cycle.
Find your comment under the Comments section.
Select the trash icon.
Confirm the deletion.
You can only delete comments posted from your own account.
