Project Goals

Project Goals help you organize and track the objectives within a Projects Project.

Breaking a larger Project into smaller Goals makes it easier to record what you want to accomplish and monitor your overall progress.

The Project Goals section displays:

• The percentage of Goals completed

• The number of completed and total Goals

• A progress bar

• Each Goal’s name and description

• Whether each Goal is completed

Select a Goal to edit, complete, or delete it.

Project Goal Fields

Field	Required	Description
Goal Name	Yes	The name used to identify the Goal.
Description	No	Additional information about the Goal or what needs to be completed.

Fields Configurable After Project Goal Creation

Field	Required	Description
Mark as Completed	No	Indicates whether the Goal has been completed.

How to Add a Project Goal

1. Open the navigation menu and select Projects.

2. Select the Project where the Goal should be added.

3. Find the Project Goals section.

4. Select Goal.

   You can also select the Quick Add card near the top of the Project page.

5. Complete the Project Goal Fields.

6. Select Save.

The new Goal will appear in the Project Goals section and be included in the Project’s Goal progress.

How to Edit or Complete a Project Goal

1. Open the navigation menu and select Projects.

2. Select the applicable Project.

3. Find and select the Goal under the Project Goals section.

4. Update the Goal Name or Description as needed.

5. Enable Mark as Completed when the Goal has been completed.

6. Select Save.

Completed Goals display a check mark and are included in the Project’s completion percentage.

To reopen a completed Goal, edit it and disable Mark as Completed.

How to Delete a Project Goal

1. Open the navigation menu and select Projects.

2. Select the applicable Project.

3. Find and select the Goal under the Project Goals section.

4. Select Delete.

5. Confirm the deletion.

Warning

Deleting a Project Goal cannot be undone.
