Pulse Devices#

Pulse devices help you monitor and optimize your growing environment by providing real-time data on critical factors such as temperature, humidity, and more. In GroBase, you can seamlessly integrate Pulse devices to enhance your tracking and decision-making process.

Attention

This is an Advanced Integration.

How to Add a Pulse Device#

  1. Navigate to the Cycle

  2. Click the Add Pulse Device button under the Equipment section

  3. Select an Integration from the dropdown

  4. Then, select a Device from the dropdown

  5. Click Add to add the device

How to Delete a Pulse Device#

  1. Navigate to the Cycle

  2. Find and select the Pulse Device under the Equipment section

  3. To Delete, simply click on the trash icon and confirm the deletion

Details#

This section displays general information about the Pulse Device.

Sync Data#

The Sync Data feature allows you to retrieve and synchronize data from your integrated pulse devices within a specified timeframe. This ensures your growing records remain up-to-date and tailored to your tracking needs.

Sync Data Fields#

Field

Required

Description

Start Date

Yes

Defines the beginning of the time range for syncing data. Only data recorded on or after this date will be retrieved.

End Date

No

Defines the end of the time range for syncing data. If not specified, the sync will include data up to the current date.

Sync Interval

Yes

Determines the frequency of data points to sync, allowing for tailored data retrieval. Choices are: Hourly, 30 Min, 15 Min.

How to Sync Pulse Device Data#

  1. Navigate to the Cycle

  2. Find and select the Pulse Device under the Equipment section

  3. Under Sync Data, populate the Sync Data Fields

  4. Click Sync to trigger synchronization

Note

The larger the selected time range, the longer the synchronization process will take. Syncing runs in the background, so you can leave the page and return later to check the status.

Sync Attempts#

The Sync Attempts section provides an overview of all data synchronizations made within your cycle. Each attempt to sync data is logged, allowing you to track the history and status of synchronization activities.

Data Points#

The Data Points section displays the environmental metrics synced from your connected Pulse Device. This includes data on temperature, humidity, VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit), and other crucial growing conditions. Each data point is timestamped, allowing you to analyze trends and make data-driven decisions for optimal plant health.
