Templates#

Templates save details you enter repeatedly. In Advanced view, open Templates, choose a group, and add an item. Later, choose it while filling out a grow form and adjust that entry if needed.

Choose the right template#

  • Areas: save a grow space and its dimensions for reuse.

  • Lights: save commonly used Light details, including Coverage.

  • Resources: save nutrients, amendments, and other inputs. Set a Default unit to speed up input entries.

  • Containers: save pot details and sizes you use often.

  • Genetics: save genetic details you use across grows.

  • Feeding Recipes: keep a reusable combination of feeding ingredients.

  • Grow Medium Mixes: keep a reusable medium composition.

Create and reuse one#

  1. Open Templates and choose the matching group.

  2. Select its add action, enter the details you know, and save.

  3. When a grow form offers that template, select it and check the filled details before saving your entry.

For a Feeding Recipe or Grow Medium Mix, add the ingredients and their amounts and units in the composition editor. A Resource can suggest its default unit, which you can change for that ingredient.

Note

Editing a Template later does not rewrite entries already saved in a Cycle. Check the entry itself when you need a different amount or unit.
