Projects provide a convenient way to organize all your related Cycles and Templates. Whether you’re conducting various grow experiments or overseeing multiple setups, Projects help streamline your workflow by grouping everything together allowing for better management and oversight of your growing operations.

Project Types#

  • Basic

    A Basic Project is a simple way to keep track of Project Goals and associate Project Elements.

  • Breeding

    Breeding Projects in GroBase allow you to plan, track, and predict the outcomes of plant breeding with clarity and precision. These projects are ideal for growers looking to develop new cultivars, preserve genetic lines, or simply explore trait inheritance.

How to Add a Project#

  1. In the navigation menu, select Projects

  2. Click the Add Project button

  3. Populate the Project Fields

  4. Click the Save button to add the project

  5. To immediately add another, click Save and Add Another

How to Edit/Delete a Project#

  1. In the navigation menu, select Projects

  2. Find and select the Project

  3. Click the Edit button at the top of the page

  4. Edit the fields accordingly and click the Update button to save the changes

  5. To Delete, simply click on the trash icon and confirm the deletion

This card displays general information about the Project.

Project Goals#

Project Goals help you stay organized and focused on what you want to achieve within each project. Setting goals allows you to break down your project into manageable tasks, ensuring a clear path to success!

Project Elements#

Project Elements are a way for you to assign Cycles and Templates to your Project. Easily add, update, or view these components to keep everything organized and accessible within your Project.

Lineages#

Lineages are a great way to keep track of Parent Plants, their Offspring and Traits that you are monitoring.
