Projects

Projects group related work across grows. Use a Basic Project to collect Cycles, reusable Templates, and goals. Use a Breeding Project when you also want to organize parentage and observed traits.

Create a Basic Project

1. In Advanced view, open Projects and select New Project.

2. Choose Basic, give it a name, and save.

3. Open it, select Add Goal for an aim you want to track, and use Edit items to link relevant Cycles or Templates.

Complete goals as you make progress. Project links organize existing grow items; they do not move a Plant or Cycle out of its grow.

Track a Breeding Project

1. Create a Project and choose Breeding.

2. Open its Lineages section and select Add Lineage.

3. Name the Lineage and choose Parent A and Parent B if known.

4. Open the Lineage and select Add Offspring to link a Plant.

5. Add a trait you want to follow. Choose a known trait or enter a custom name, then record parent and offspring expressions as you observe them.

6. Review the genotype and phenotype possibilities when enough trait information is present.

A Lineage is a place to keep parent and offspring observations together. Predictions show possibilities, not guarantees about a future Plant. You can return to a Lineage as new observations become available.
