Grow Plans#

A Grow Plan lets you set target conditions for grow stages and compare them with what you actually recorded. Use one when you want to see whether your environment is following a plan, not just collect readings.

Create a plan and set targets#

  1. Switch to Advanced view and open Grow Plans.

  2. Select Create Grow Plan, enter a name and optional description, then select Create Plan.

  3. Open the plan. Under Stage targets, select Add stage targets.

  4. Choose a stage and enter only the targets you care about. You can set Lights On / Day and Lights Off / Night temperature, humidity, and VPD targets, plus supported Light targets.

  5. Save the stage. Use Edit targets to adjust it later.

Optional Target Phases#

You can add Target Phases within a plan stage when your goals change over time. For example, Flower might have Stretch, Full Bloom, and Ripening phases. Enter each phase’s Start Day and optional Last Day, counted from Day 1 of that stage. Leave the final Last Day blank if the phase should continue. You can also leave gaps; those days use the stage targets.

Only enter targets that differ from the stage defaults. A blank phase target inherits the stage target. Target Phases do not add Cycle stages or change your saved readings. If a Cycle enters the same stage again, its phase days start over at Day 1.

Compare targets with a Cycle#

  1. Open the Cycle’s Grow Plan tab.

  2. Choose your plan under Cycle Grow Plan and select Save Cycle Plan.

  3. Read Target vs Actual to see where recorded conditions differ.

Individual Lights On / Day readings compare with Day targets; individual Lights Off / Night readings compare with Night targets. GroBase keeps the periods separate. Readings marked Average or Unspecified do not contribute to these averages. If no suitable reading exists, there is no actual value to compare yet.

Tip

If a comparison is empty, first check the Cycle’s stages and the observation period on your environment readings.
