GroBase v1.8.0 release.

New Features
  • Introducing GroHub - Connect with Growers Like Never Before!
    We’re excited to introduce GroHub, a new feature in GroBase that brings a social dimension to your growing experience. With GroHub, you can now:
    1. Share your grow cycles and updates with the community.
    2. Follow other growers, see their public cycles, and gain insights into what others are doing.
    3. React to posts with "Grow" or "Wilt" to show your support or concern and leave a comment!

  • Public Profiles
    In your public profile, you can customize how you present yourself to the GroBase community. Set a display name, add a bio, link your website, and decide whether you want your profile to be public or remain anonymous. This can be updated in your Account Settings.
  • In-App Notifications
    Our new notification system ensures you stay updated with important activities within GroBase. You'll now receive alerts for the following events:
    GroBase Notifications:
    1. Task Reminders: Get notified whenever a scheduled task reminder runs, ensuring you never miss an important task.

    GroHub Notifications:
    1. Follower Alerts: Be notified when someone follows you in GroHub, allowing you to stay connected with your growing community.
    2. Comments: You'll also receive notifications when someone leaves a comment on your public cycles or posts, making it easier to engage with others.

  • Plant QR Codes with Built-In Scanner Access
    We’ve introduced a unique way to access your plant settings! You can now generate a QR code for each plant, download it, and print it to attach directly to your plants. Plant QR Codes can be accessed and customized on the Plant page.
    Use the built-in scanner in the app to scan the QR code and get instant access to the plant’s settings, making it easier than ever to manage details and updates on the go.

    We’re thrilled to introduce GroBlog to GroBase! Now, you can dive deeper into GroBase features, explore growing techniques, and stay informed on the latest trends in the growing community—all within GroBase.

    Explore the comprehensive In-Depth User Guide to discover everything you need to know about GroBase and its powerful features.

  • Account Deletion
    You can now delete your own account. This will delete everything associated to your account. THIS ACTION CANNOT BE UNDONE!

    You can now optionally select to add a Cycle Plant from a Genetic Template or a Seed from your Seed Vault. If selecting a Seed, a Genetic Template will automatically be created and assigned to the Cycle Plant.

    We’re excited to introduce the new Projects feature, designed to help you streamline and manage your growing operations with ease. Now, you can organize all your related Cycles and Templates under a single project for better planning and tracking. You can also set Project Goals to help keep track of project objectives.
    Whether you’re running multiple grow experiments or managing different setups, Projects allow you to group everything in one place, making it easier to oversee your work and track your progress.

  • GroBase Tutorial, now available to guide you through key features. You can easily enable or disable it anytime via your account settings.
  • Push Notifications is here! You can now enable Push Notifications on your Mobile and Desktop devices. You must subscribe first by going to your Account Settings, and simply click Subscribe under Push Notifications.

  • Progressive Web App(PWA) Support:
    You can now install the GroBase Web App onto your Device's Home Screen for a Mobile and Desktop App experience.
    Mobile: In your Mobile Browser, simply go to your browser settings and select the 'Add to Home Screen' option!
    Desktop: GroBase can also be installed as a Desktop App by clicking the install app icon in your Desktop Browser.
    Internet access is still required to use GroBase.
